Hi everyone!

I just made this blog because i want to share some music things.

So first, i’ll introduce myself:

My name is Daphne and i’m 16. My artist/stage name, like you see in the website’s link, is Hazel. I live in The Netherlands. I sing alot and i write songs. Oh and i’m a soccer player, i’m a goalkeeper and i’m a fieldplayer, depends on the first goalkeeper of our team because she doesn’t play every match with us.

I have/had struggles with myself so i write songs about it to make me feel happier. My favorite artists at the moment are Katy Perry, Marina Diamandis (also known as Marina And The Diamonds), Lana Del Rey and Melanie Martinez.

I’m not a professional in songwriting and singing yet but i wanted to make a start with this blog. I’ll be sharing some life stories and also some music i love to listen to.

My dream is to be a singer, since 2009 i thought. I used to sing karaoke’s all the time. I also participated 3 times in a songcontest at my school. But when i went to Middle School, i never sang on stage anymore. Since August 2014, i started to really work on my vocals and started to write songs. One song i wrote is called ‘Breathe’. It’s about how i felt bad and needed to find happiness.
